Portameegos is your one-stop shop for all your seafaring needs. It's a mobile app that connects you with local vendors cum port agents and cab services, making your life at sea more convenient.

To create your account, provide your Name, Contact number (preferably whatsapp no.), Nationality, and Rank. You will receive an OTP on your provided Email for verification. Once verified, your account will be successfully created.

To login your account, provide your Registered Email and password. If you have forgot your password just enter your registered Email and You will receive an verification code on your provided Email for verification. Once verified, your password can be successfully reset.

We do not sell, rent, share, distribute, lease or otherwise provide your Personal Data to third parties, without your prior consent. Keeping this in mind, we may use your Personal Data to share with port agent for your chosen services and email for our notifications regarding app policy changes and your orders.

You will receive an order confirmation in app notification with a unique order ID soon after agent’s confirmation of order. And once agent is out for delivery or pick up email will be sent to the email address you provided during registration with OTP. Additionally, you can check the details of your upcoming deliveries or ride in the app.

Before submitting, ensure that the product you selected is from the agent/vendor at the same port where you are arriving. Fill in the vessel name, IMO number, terminal/berth number, along with the expected ship arrival and departure dates.

Handling special requests or customized orders is at your discretion and liaison with port agent. If agent is unavailable to fulfill a request, he can deny or cancel the order. We recommend you that prohibited items as mentioned in agreements and in your company policies such items not be requested. You will always get agents contact no. for further clarification and confirmations.

There is no formal contingency plan for delays, but we advise proactive communication with agents regarding any unforeseen delays or disruptions will be appreciated.

Cab bookings can be made on the same day; however, in cases of port congestion or at busy ports with many berths, we advise giving the agent at least 1 day's notice and communicating in advance to confirm availability before booking.

Absolutely! We recommend that while on a long sea voyage, you browse your favorite products and add them to your wish list before arriving at the port. You can also share product details with your loved ones for review and confirmation. Place your orders at least 3-4 working days before your ship's estimated arrival time (ETA) to ensure timely delivery.

We understand plans can change! To cancel an order, you must notify your assigned agent at least 48 hours before your ship's estimated arrival time (ETA) at the port. You can easily reach them through contact details within the app.

Important: Orders cannot be cancelled within the 48-hour window. It indirectly creates loss to our port agents

For minor changes, you can try contacting your agent directly through the chat or call within 48 hours of your ETA. However, for significant changes, we recommend cancelling your existing order telephonically or contacting the agent via email and placing a new one. Only agents can cancel orders from their end.

Our port agents strive to ensure successful deliveries. However, in rare cases of delivery failures, they will work to arrange delivery at your next port of call. Please communicate openly with your agent to minimize such occurrences.

You will receive an email notification with OTP when your order is ready for delivery. While we recommend remaining on board, you can inform your agent if you plan to be on shore leave. If you're unable to receive the order personally, you can authorize a shipmate to collect it on your behalf.

Your orders are delivered by local port agents who are familiar with port regulations and procedures. They may also use delivery personnel to assist in the delivery process. While we ensure background checks for registered agents, we cannot guarantee the specific individuals delivering your order.

Agents ensure the timely delivery of shipments by implementing robust systems to track ship schedules and monitoring current AIS positioning on various vessels tracking websites. Stay in regular communication with agents, keep an eye on order status and mails closely.

We use real time updating tracking systems via mail and in-app notifications from agents that allow seafarers to monitor their shipments through our mobile app or online portal.

No, there are no additional charges for using the Portameegos app. It's completely free for seafarers.

You can pay for your orders/ cab services using the cash-on-delivery (COD) method. The delivery agent will bring your order to your ship/or drop you to your destination and you can pay the amount directly to them. Please ensure you have the exact amount in cash. In some cases, you may have the option to pay by card or through a digital payment method, but this depends on the availability of these options with the specific port agent.

Since it is very rare for a vessel to return to the same port within a short time, we do not have a return policy. Therefore, it is strongly advised that you communicate diligently with vendors/ port agents via email, call or messages, keeping proof of such communications for your records.

Once the product is handed over to you, we advise you to inspect it before making any payment. We have established clear return and refund policies outlined in our terms and conditions, and it is crucial to adhere to them strictly.

If you decide to process returns or refunds, please handle them personally and professionally, understanding that this will be done at your own risk.

Please notify your assigned agent as soon as possible if your ship's arrival is delayed. This allows them to adjust the delivery/cab services schedule. However, we kindly request that you avoid cancellations due to potential berthing delays.

While we strive for prompt delivery, the exact timing depends on the ship's schedule you provide. While our agents track vessel updates, delays may occur if your ship's information isn't updated in the Automated Identification System (AIS) by your crew. As a platform facilitating communication, Portameegos does not hold responsibility for ship delays.

If you receive an order confirmation notification, also you can check orders status in shopping tab, and then your order has been successfully placed. If you don't receive a confirmation email, your order was not processed. Please try placing the order again.
